As a brewery, we started on Lamma Island, home to many wild Wampi trees, with a very brief annual fruiting season. This incredible Southeast Asian citrus fruit, which looks somewhat grape-like, bursts with a phenomenally spicy, juicy, tangy tart and sweet citrus character. Each year, we work with South Lamma's Mo Tat Wan community and our good friend David Hopley to forage fragrant Wild Wampi at the peak of their season and then use them to create a refreshing foraged sour which we think reflects Lamma Island's creativity and lush tropical landscape. Appearance: Bright orange with some haze and a creamy off-white head. Aroma: Massive fresh wampi notes, gentle blend of citrus and tropical fruit with a creamy soft sourness. Taste: Tart fresh wampi on the palate with a touch of lactic sourness. Fruity notes with easy carbonation and a touch of bitterness make for bright refreshment with a lingering aftertaste of fresh fruit that is slightly mouth puckering and deliciously moreish. 6%
